Project Overview
We recently had the pleasure of working with Lionsgate on Antebellum, starring Janelle Monáe.
Much of our work on Antebellum was centred on some VFX fundamentals, including blue screen window replacements, screen replacements, rig removal and cosmetic work. We also delivered seamless face replacement during an extended horseback chase sequence during the film's climax.
The film, which launched in September 2020, prominently features the horror of slavery as Eden, played by Monáe, struggles to either escape from or defeat her captors. The film was released in cinemas in selected territories and as VOD in the United States.
